"Talk to me, dance with me! You're the spotlight girl!"

So, today is my last dance recital ever! I am so sad! I can't believe how fast those three years have gone by. Yesterday was dress rehearsal, and it went great. I love all of the dances because "Dancing Through the Decades" is probably my most fave theme. Okay, well I have to go slick my hair back into a bun now which will probably take me forever! Au revoir, loves!

My boys: take 4!

Yay! After waiting for FIVE LONG GRUELING MONTHS without seeing my boys, I am finally going to see them again on July 31st! Yay! I can't wait! And, hopefully I'll have an amazing new album to add to my iPod very very soon! Dress rehearsal tomorrow, and then my last recital ever on Sunday. Boo! I have a feeling that tears are going to shed.

P.S.~ Follow what your gut tells you to do, because, even if it seems like it, your heart is not always thinking clearly.

My hectic schedule always makes me miss something!

So, today was one of my Kairos buddie's senior project on his year spent in Germany. Of course, it was after school and I had to miss it because I had to get blood work done in Philly! I feel so bad! I really wanted to see it! And, on top of that, I'm missing a dress down day tomorrow! It never fails. Anyway, today was otherwise alright. I just found myself nodding off a lot because I have so much sleep to catch up on. Thank God I only have one more week of school left! Au revoir, loves!

La Petit Couturiere

That's my friend, "the little fashion designer", and I really enjoyed her presentation today! Her collection was gorgeous and her prom dress...that she made HERSELF!...is so darling! I loved all her inspirations, from Audrey Hepburn to wood grain print, and I loved her color scheme of natural tones and peaches. She is so Parisian and very talented, and I know that I'll see her clothes on the racks of the most prestigious department stores and boutiques very soon! And, I will be proud to wear them and to tell people that I know her! Anyway, I have to go and finish some math homework, and then I'm going to bed because I'm so exhausted! Au revoir, loves!

An empty feeling.

So, just as I suspected, all of my classes today were totally empty! There were exactly 137 seniors absent today after our big prom weekend! It felt so weird being there, and I knew I should have taken off. Although, I did not fall behind in math which is a good thing because we learned something totally new. Also, all my English work is done because I was in today. So, I guess those two things are my silver lining. However, I was EXHAUSTED today, and I found it really hard to stay awake. Oh well, tomorrow should be better because another one of my friends is having a fashion show for her senior project! And, I have Friday off! Yay! Well, I'm about to leave for my LAST NIGHT OF DANCE CLASS EVER! I know, it's so sad! Au revoir, loves!

"I want somethin' else, not listening when you say...goodbye!"

Ladies and gentlemen, our Prom '09 song! I had the most amazing time last night! Everything from getting all dolled up, to the ride to the aquarium, to prom itself, to post prom was unbelieveable! I got a lot of gorgeous pics, and everyone looked great! I got to dance with one of my very funny and crazy Kairos buddies (sorry Meesh, no picture!) and I got a comment from another very sweet Kairos buddy that instantly made me feel fabulous! So, after prom was over, it was back to school for a fun-packed night! Omigod, there was everything there! I got tattoos, I kicked my best friend's butt in moonbounce boxing, I won tons of stuff, and I proved to myself that it was soooo much more fun without being tied down to a date (Told you, Ant!) Anyway, I'm exhausted right now, and I think I'm gonna take a little nap. Au revoir, loves!

The royal treatment.

So, tonight is the big night! Yes, that's right, it's my senior prom! I can't wait! I'm going to leave in a little bit to get my hair and makeup done, and then it's off to a night "Under the Sea!" And, I am actually really glad not to have a date. That way, I can just focus on having an awesome time with my friends rather than having an awkward time with someone I barely know...or towers over me! LOL! Okay, I have to go make sure I have everything, and I will update everyone later! Au revoir, loves!

Short, TAN!!!, and gorgeous!

I'M FINALLY TAN FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE!!!!! I absolutely love it! I had a spray tan done yesterday, and it looks amazing! I feel so great! I am actually comfortable to walk out of the house with no makeup on at all because my face is no longer as white as my walls! So, nails and toes done today for prom tomorrow! Yay, yay, yay! I cannot wait! Au revoir, loves!

There's no place like home!

So, I FINALLY got my FIT housing and roommate information today! I'm so excited! I hope my roommate is as nice as her last name suggests! LOL! I cannot wait to live in NYC. Do you want to know my most fave part? It's not the great school, it's not the amazing restaurants, it's not the great theaters, it's not even all the fab upscale shopping (okay, it's a little bit of that!) My absolute fave part about NYC is hearing the blaring of the horns when you wake up in the morning! I don't know why, but I ADORE that! Okay, I'm gonna see if I can find some info on my roommate, and then it's off to bed! Au revoir, loves!

P.S.~ See you tomorrow, Meesh!

Ice cream run and teeth whitening strips.

Random title, much? LOL! So, yeah, just got back from an ice cream run with Momma Dukes and am now making my teeth shinier for prom. I had no idea that prom would be this much work! I had to reschedule my hair and make-up appointments because I found out today that we would all be meeting at a friend's house earlier than expected! Ugh! Prom should be hella fun though. I can't wait! In other news, today two of my friends presented their senior project on installation photography which was amazing and HILARIOUS! If you don't know what installation photography is, look up Sandy Skogland who did an awesome composition called "Radioactive Cats." My daddy used to have a shirt with that on it, and I was so upset when he threw it out! LOL! Anyway, I'm gonna get ready for bed now. Short week this week. Thank God! And, prom on Sunday! Yay! Au revoir, loves!

I am so sick to death of homework!

I hate staying in on weekends studying for a test or doing math problems when I could be out enjoying the nice day! Ugh! I can't believe I only have like three more weeks of school! I can't wait! And, graduation is just around the corner. Like, just an hour ago I was helping my mom address envelopes for the invitations! June 14th, can you hurry up a bit? Anyway, the whole fiasco with my hair was solved yesterday, thank God! And, this week, I'm going to look at tanning salons for my spray tan. Although, I'll probably go with one of my friend's suggestions for Sunny Days because she said that a person sprays you instead of a machine. She did that for junior prom, and she looked awesome! Okay, well, I'm gonna go finish my homework because tonight is the Desperate Housewives season finale and I DO NOT intend to miss it! Au revoir, loves!

OMJ!!!!!!!

PANIC PLAYING WITH CHESTER FRENCH, FALL OUT BOY, AND BLINK-182 ON AUGUST 12TH AT HERSHEY PARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M DEF GOING!!!!!! I'M FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW!

"War is over! If you want it."

So, I have only one word for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Annex in NYC: inspiring. The part that I loved the most was the entire room dedicated to John Lennon. It is literally like stepping into a cloud because the room is PURE white and one of the most amazing songs in the world is playing called "Imagine." It was very sad to see the bag filled with the clothes he was wearing the day he was murdered, but it was very soul-shattering to read the words of Yoko Ono below the clothing. I really loved the dry erase board that was on the wall where people are allowed to write something for John. I wrote possibly the strongest words that I could think of, originally sung by the four most amazing people in the world, and that is "Reinvent Love." I felt that it was very appropriate. I recommend that everyone visit this limited time engagement in NYC because it will truly inspire you.

My boys.

Doesn't that sound like a great TV show. No, I'm not talking about the one on TBS. I'm talking about the one that I thought up today while I was dozing off in trig. So, picture this: It's a show about me living with my boys (everyone should know which ones I'm talking about!) and each episode would be a day in our lives following our wacky antics! Omigod, I just thought that it would be HILARIOUS! I don't know. I do all my weird and creative thinking when I'm daydreaming. Anyway, I got some bad news today! Ms. C is not able to do my hair for prom! Boo! That's what you get for having your prom on a FRICKEN SUNDAY! And not just any Sunday, but the Sunday before Memorial Day! What idiot thought that up?! Anyway, it's no biggie. I'll just have to call around and see who's available. Okay, well, I have to get ready for me and Ant's big NYC trip tomorrow! Au revoir, loves!

"Ooo la la la, we love designer!"

So, I just got back from judging my friends' fashion presentation, and it was flawless! They explained each of the 10 designs that they created, and how much work and effort goes into creating a fashion collection! Their inspirations came from various well-known paintings. It was so interesting to see how they took specific painting skills, such as pointillism and impasto, and incorporated them into the outfits themselves. It's no surprise that they got an excellent grade! They have worked so hard all throughout this year that they barely had one break! I am so proud of them and I can't wait to see their designs being sold at the four B's: Bloomingdales, Bendel's, Bergdorf, and Barney's! Anyway, no homework for me tonight so I get to go to bed early for a change! Yay! Au revoir, my loves!

Tuesday, May 12, 2009

Halle-damn-luia!

I AM FINALLY FINISHED WITH MY POINTILLISM PAINTING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Omigod, it just feels like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders! Anyway, what till y'all hear about my very hectic day. Let's start from the beginning. I really didn't sleep well at all last night, which meant that I really couldn't get up this morning. However, I somehow forced myself to get out of bed and get ready for school. So, I'm on my usual route and I almost get to the Lawrenceville exit, when I see that it's closed for some strange reason! Okay, so Whitehead Road was my next option, but it's such a pain in the derriere to make a left there and it was all backed up. So, down Route 1 I continue to go until I get to Mrs. G's. Little did I know, you weren't allowed to make a U-turn there anymore, so it's into the loooooooooong line of traffic for us! So, after a few minutes, I finally get to school and I'm like 10 minutes late. No biggie. So, I get to English class and there's a note on my desk from the office. I'm thinking all these horrible things, but, come to find out, my two fashionable friends have asked me to be a judge on their senior project panel tomorrow! I'm so excited! But, that was my only good news today. When my mom came to pick me up after school, I find out that she was rear-ended at the Brunswick Circle which left a HUGE dent on the bumper! At least we don't have to pay for it! Anyway, after that whole fiasco, I had a second fitting for my prom dress, and it has turned out just beautifully. The tailor just has to press it, and it will be parfait! Okay, well, that was my obnoxiously hectic day. I hope all of yours went much, much better! Okay, I have to go study for a trig test now. Yay! Not! Au revoir, loves!

"Northern Downpour sends its love"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVg1bqlu1qU

This song is totally, completely, and without a doubt my anthem. It's just a gorgeous song. Anyway, I'm sorry I haven't updated in a long while! I have just been bogged down with this painting of mine. It's almost finished and I cannot wait to hand it in and have it out of my hair! Anyway, I hope all your Mother's Days went great and you got mom a little something special to show how much you appreciate her! So, today was another visit to Philly, and Meesh was with me so that just made it tons better. Back to school tomorrow though, boo! I'm so glad I only have like 15 more days left! Yes! Okay, I will leave you guys with this AMAZING video and I am going to get ready for bed because I am exhausted! Au revoir, loves!

P.S.~ NYC with Ant on Friday for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! I cannot wait to check it out!

Friday, May 8, 2009

My eyelids are getting so heavy.

So, I just finished talking with Ant and we are going to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in NYC next Friday. Should be so much fun! He also told me that his date for the prom STILL hasn't gotten her dress! He is freaking out because he doesn't know what color pocket square to get since he's going tux shopping tomorrow! If I were him, I would be freaking out too. So, I have so much art to do this weekend! I'm working right now on my two conte drawings and I hope to have them done by tomorrow afternoon so I can focus on finishing the pointillism in time for the art show in two weeks! Ahhh! I have so much to do! At least I don't have to go to school on Monday, but the bad part is I'll be spending it in Philly. Boo! Okay, well, I have to print out our permission forms for the trip next week so he can pick them up tomorrow morning! A bientot, my loves!

A short little something...

because today was totally uneventful. The only thing that really happened today was that I FINALLY saw and talked to Meesh's boyfriend (you know who I'm talking about!) for the first time since we got back from Kairos! It is so nice to know that he hasn't changed a bit, and his hugs are by far the best! LOL! Okay, ta-ta for now, loves!

"All was golden in the sky...all was golden when the day met the night!"

Yay! The sun finally peeked out today! I was starting to think that it died or something! Anyway, great news! The PATDOnline Forum is back after a million years! Yay! I was soooo excited! Now I have something to do for when I'm totally bored! So, the rehearsal last night was great, and I found out that I CAN put my hair in a bun! What a relief after the fiasco last year! I have another one tonight for the sixties dance, and I can't wait for my mom to see it. She's so excited! Okay, well, I'm gonna go play on the forum for a little bit, get ready for rehearsal, and then study for my religion test tomorrow! Au revoir, loves!

Tuesday, May 5, 2009

Omigod, Omigod you guys! Looks like Elle...

has won the prize! Congrats to the cast and crew of the Legally Blonde: The Musical tour! I wish you guys were still on Broadway! Okay, shocking news: I have absolutely no homework tonight! I know, total shocker, right? Anyway, I finally presented my "fashion" of the Holocaust project today in religion, and it was phenom! Even the guys seemed interested! And, Keltie's dance to "Northern Downpour" made me cry! It is soooo beautiful! And, so did Meesh's "I believe..." statements! Love you, too! Anyway, tonight is my first in-class dress rehearsal and I am sooo excited! I'm crossing my fingers that I can at least get my hair into some sort of bun tonight because it has grown a lot since last year. Okay, well, I'm gonna go watch the Kardashians and read Elle because I am totally free tonight! Au revoir, loves!

P.S.~ I heard the Wildwood commercial on the radio this morning which means that summer is only a hop, skip, and a jump away! Yay!

"I've got sunshine on a cloudy day..."

Well, not really. It is such a gloomy day over here and it just brings me down so much! To top it all off, I have SO much work to do today, and I haven't really started. I can't wait for school to finally be over. Anyway, yesterday was my little cousin's communion, and it was surprisingly really fun. The priest asked all the little kids these questions that I didn't even know the answers to! LOL! I also bought some new bright blue Havaianas yesterday, and they are just too adorable! I also saw a gorgeous DVF wrap dress that I'm keeping my eye on for after graduation! LOL! OH! And...I went into a new consignment shop in Princeton yesterday, and it was just sooooo weird! I mean, you have clothes that your grandmother would wear but also there are some awesome finds, like a Catherine Malandrino dress or an Armani top! Pretty. Odd. Okay, well I better go start that stupid homework before it gets too late. I don't see why though considering everyone else I know has pretty much given up with school! LOL! A bientot!

Sorry!

That last link didn't show up so here it is again! Again, sorry!

"Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls:

" And I don't want the world to see me cause I don't think that they'd understand"

I LOVE this song! It reminds me sooo much of Kairos. God, I wish I was still there. I can't believe it's been a week already. Anyway, me and my momma got our nails done after school, and it was just so cute! I have so much work to do this weekend, but I don't know how I'm gonna do it because I have two parties to go to! We'll see what happens! So, we're about to get some pizza now (yum!) and I guess I will just leave you guys with this song! Happy May first!
