I am so tired and I am amazed that I didn't fall asleep reading that last advertising chapter.

So, I'm in my room trying to catch up on some homework. Thank God this week is almost done and I can go home tomorrow. I can't wait. Plus, it's supposed to clear up tomorrow, which will be a nice change of pace from all this rain we've been having. Okay, that's pretty much it for today. I have to finish up here, and then it's off to bed because I have to get up early tomorrow morning. Au revoir, loves.

Are they done cleaning the bathroom yet?

Okay, I absolutely hate it when the cleaning people come to clean the bathroom before I leave. I have to go so bad, and I have class in ten minutes! What a morning! Okay, I have to leave for English. Au revoir, loves.

P.S.~Kelts, your momma is in my prayers. Don't worry. She will get through this because she has amazing strength just like you. Fuck you, cancer. No one wants you in their life.

I hate multiple choice tests like that!

So, I just finished my advertising midterm a few hours ago, and I felt like I got every answer wrong. I know that I'm probably just paranoid, but it seemed like every question could have two answers! Oh well. I guess I'll just have to wait till next week to see how I did. Anyways, the rest of the day was pretty dull. Hopefully, tomorrow will be more worthwhile. Au revoir, loves.

I am not a happy camper right now.

Why? Well, one: it's raining outside, and that always puts me in a bad mood. Two: I am stuck in my room trying to cram two months worth of useless advertising knowledge into my brain. I cannot wait till this day is over!

"I got a rock."

Well, today went pretty well. Nothing really important or exciting happened, but it was a pretty good Monday. English class was fun because we got to do impromptu writing, which I love. Excel went better than I expected. We had a midterm which was open book and I got a chance to catch up with my spreadsheets. Business class was a bit boring, but then again, what can you expect from a lecture? I also started to get into the Halloween spirit today by watching some classics. The original "Halloween" still gives me the goosebumps even though I've seen it a billion times before, and I started watching the original "Friday the 13th," which is equally creepy. I hope to continue my horror moviethon throughout this week to get me pumped for Saturday night. I can't wait till Halloween! Okay, well, I have to do some homework, study for my advertising midterm tomorrow, and then go to bed. Au revoir, loves!

P.S.~Also watched "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" last night, and it is still as adorable as it was when I watched it when I was younger!

Back to the old grind.

So, I'm finally back in NYC after a very fun weekend. I got to relive my childhood by going to my fave pizza parlor that, miraculously, remains untouched in the old "Burg," I went shopping at one of my fave malls, and I got to just play and be goofy with some of my fave girls. It was a really good weekend. Anyway, I am glad to be back, but I am not looking forward to my advertising midterm on Tuesday. I really need to study for that. Thank God it's all going to be multiple choice! I'm very excited about Halloween this weekend! It's one of my fave holidays! I hope everyone else is equally excited! Au revoir, loves!

I want my Starbucks!

So, I walked out into the hallway this morning, and all I could smell was fresh-brewed Starbucks coffee. Yum! Now I am totally craving a cup. Anyways, I thankfully got a good night's rest last night, and I feel a little better this morning. I have my fashion industry class in a few minutes, math, and then I'm going home! Okay, I have to finish getting ready for class. Au revoir, loves.

No homework to keep me up late tonight!

Yes! I was able to finish all of my homework earlier today! I may have missed out on a much-needed nap and a trip to the Betsey Johnson sample sale, but it was really worth it. Okay, well, I'm not going to let this computer keep me up any later. I am going to get ready for bed and catch up on my Elle magazine. I'm still on the September issue, and October and November remain to be untouched! Au revoir, loves.

"It's almost Halloween."

So, last night was really creepy. After doing all my work and getting into bed, I decided to start celebrating Halloween. I watched a few old horror movies, like "He Knows You're Alone" and "Trilogy of Terror." Let me tell you, when I watched them as a little girl, I couldn't sleep for days. Last night was pretty much the same. I swear, those late 70s early 80s slasher movies really get to me sometimes. I do love this holiday, though. Anyways, I have to leave for English class in a few, and then, hopefully, I can sneak a nap in during my big break. Au revoir, loves.

Tuesday seems to come way too fast.

I can't believe it's already Tuesday again. I hate this day with a burning passion. I mean, sure, I love the fact that I get to sleep in, but my advertising class really puts a damper on an otherwise great day. I have it in a little less than an hour. It better go by fast today. Anyways, I just got done with a math test, and it was pretty easy. I never would have guess that math would have been my easiest subject here. Probably because it's a kindergarten-level. LOL! Okay, well, I'm gonna go back to my fashion industry reading, and then it's off to hell. Au revoir, loves.

Monday, October 19, 2009

I'm officially creeped out.

So, I'm laying in my bed watching early 80s slasher movies. I am really scared right now! If you want a good Halloween movie suggestion, mine is "He Knows You're Alone." Me and my mom watch that together all the time, and it still gets us! LOL! Anyways, today was pretty good. My business class was canceled, but I ended up almost ripping my hair out in Excel! Ugh! I really didn't sleep well last night, so I'm hoping tonight will be better. At least I don't have class till 4:10 tomorrow. Au revoir, loves.

"Back where I'm known. Back in my own very small pond."

So, I'm back in my city after being home all weekend. It was a lot of fun, and I got to play with my girls today which was fun. Also, the surprise for my roomie went completely fantastic, and she was really happy! Hopefully, this will be an easy week. I have an English midterm tomorrow which I am not looking forward to at all, but the rest of the week is pretty much dead. Okay, I have to go download new songs, study, and then go to sleep. Au revoir, loves.

"And breath. Just breath."

Oh. My. God. What a day I've had. I don't think I stopped to catch my breath even once today. So, the day started out just like any other typical Wednesday. I got up, got ready, and went to English class. But, after that, I can't even explain it. See, my roommate's birthday is this Saturday, and her boyfriend is coming up tomorrow to surprise her. I know! Isn't that the most sweetest thing in the world? Anyway, so I've been talking to him, and we have it all planned out. I had to get an extended visitor's pass from residential life, which my roommate has to hand in on Friday. I have to sign her boyfriend into our building tomorrow and... SURPRISE! I can't wait to see her face! Anyways, so after that, I got lunch. Then, I had to study for a really intense business test which took me three hours! Ugh! I have never tried to fit so much useless information into my head before! So, I had the test at 5:10, and I'm crossing my fingers that I passed because it was really hard! Then, I had to meet my partner for our Christian Lacroix project, which is due tomorrow. I really like how it all turned out, though. The paper is excellent, and the powerpoint is so much fun to explain. And, now, I'm here. Phew! What a crazy-hectic day! I cannot wait to go home tomorrow and snuggle on the couch with my kitty eating Chinese food. Yum! Au revoir, loves!

Tuesday, October 13, 2009

Thank God that's over!

So, I just got out of advertising a few minutes ago, and I could not be happier! That class just seems to drag on because I find it so boring! Anyway, aside from that, today was pretty good. I got a lot of work done on the powerpoint, and my partner just sent me the rough draft of the research paper and it looks awesome! It's so much more fun to do a project when you actually enjoy the subject! So, I have a lot of studying to do tonight for my business test tomorrow. I'm actually really nervous to take it because there is a lot of information! I hope I do well! Keep your fingers crossed! Au revoir, loves!

P.S.~ Happy Birthday, Mama! I can't wait to see you this weekend so we can get our manis and pedis! It's on me!

Monday, October 12, 2009

Upside: I get to sleep in tomorrow. Downside: Advertising.

I can't believe tomorrow is Tuesday. Didn't I just have advertising, like, yesterday? Ugh! I hate that class with a burning passion! Anyways, today went pretty smoothly. I just have a massive business test on Wednesday that I have to study for. I can't believe it's midterm time already! I feel like I just got here! Okay, well, I'm going to hop in the shower and then go to bed because I am exhausted! Au revoir, loves!

"All work and no play makes for a dully, dully day."

Yes, that is a "Lizzie McGuire reference! Even though I'm eighteen now and in my first year of college, I still love it! I'm so glad Disney is starting to play the reruns again! Anyway, what a dull, dull Sunday! This is what I did all day: work. Ugh. I can't believe tomorrow is already Monday! This weekend went by way too fast. I can't wait to go home this weekend! Homecoming! Hopefully, this week will go by really fast. My partner and I did some more on our Christian Lacroix project today, and it's coming together really well! I can't wait to present it with her on Thursday! One more thing: Desperate Housewives today was amazing! I can't wait to see what'll happen next! Okay, I'm about to get in the shower and then go to bed. Au revoir, loves!

Oh, what a night!

Wow! I really needed that day out and about in my city! I've been so tired of being cooped up on this one little street all week, and it just felt amazing to get out and walk around. Although, my feet are still killing me! Anyways, it was a really fun day! My parents, Meesh, and hr BFF all came up here, and we just spent the whole day shopping! That's my kind of Saturday! Also, it was really nice to have REAL food for a change! Okay, well, i'm just gonna cuddle up in bed, read some Elle, and dread having to do more work tomorrow! Au revoir, loves!

An uneventful, overcast day.

Well, I cannot wait till tomorrow. After being cooped up in the dorm all day doing massive amounts of work, I'm definitely ready to get out of here! I can't wait to truly be in the city tomorrow. Shopping, having fun, and just walking around will really boost my mood. At least I feel like I got a lot accomplished today. My English research paper is finished, I just finished my stock project a little while ago, and now I'm about to dive into advertising. Fun, I know. Au revoir, loves.

P.S.~ Meesh, I can smell Abercrombie from here!

On the verge of tears again.

I didn't realize just how much I miss my family until this afternoon. Daddy called me and left a message, and while I was listening to it, I got a lump in my throat. He was telling me how much he misses me and that he loves me and that he thinks of me every time he has to work up this way. It was so adorably sweet! I miss him and my mom so much! That's why I can't wait until Saturday when they come up here to spend the day with me. Meesh and her BFF are also coming, so it should be really fun! Anyways, besides that, today was good. I did really well on both of my tests, and I'm really glad this week's over! I have a lot of work to do tomorrow, though! Au revoir, loves.

My feet ache to do pas de chats.

What happened to my Wednesdays? I used to look forward to them because I could relieve the stress of school and life through dance. I loved every minute of that hour and fifteen minute class. I really do miss it. The feel of the smooth barre beneath my hand. The sound of my pointe shoes piqueing across the floor. The ability to let go and just feel the music flowing through me. I'm holding one of my ballet slippers as we speak, and it is bringing tears to my eyes. I love this little canvas shoe with all my heart. The wear and tear shown on the bottom of it only strengthens my desire to put it on and just do a single pirouette. Dance was a big part of my life and I wish it still was. What I would give to just lose myself in that dance studio one more time. Au revoir, loves.

Tuesday, October 6, 2009

No more math!

I really hate my Tuesdays! I thought I would love not going to class until 4:10, but I really don't. I would rather get my classes over with early on in the day so I can have the rest of the day to myself. My three-hour advertising class at 6:30 doesn't help, either. Anyways, I have tons of work to do on Friday and Sunday and I am not looking forward to it at all. However, I am very excited for Saturday! It should be so much fun! Au revoir, loves!

Monday, October 5, 2009

Oh, one more thing.

To the guy that looked a lot like Brendon in Houlihan's on Saturday night: call me! LOL! Now, why can't a guy like THAT ask for my number instead of these freaks around here? That's all.

I've got a long night ahead of me.

So, I'm in my dorm room now getting ready for bed. However, I won't be going to sleep anytime soon. I have tons of stuff to do. Hopefully I'll at least make a dent in the pile of work before me. Ugh! Anyways, I'm so happy that Monday is over with. All I have to do is get through that grueling advertising class tomorrow night, and the rest of the week should go by quickly. I can't wait until Saturday. Au revoir, loves!

Who wants to go to class for me?

Ugh, I really hate my Mondays. I have a full day today. I'm leaving for English in a few minutes, and then I have Excel, and then my fashion business practices class. This weekend went by way too fast. Au revoir, loves.

Sunday, October 4, 2009

"Kindness is just love with its work boots on!"

Wow! I just watched the new 'Desperate Housewives,' and I can tell that this season is going to be really good! Other than that, I just got back in my fair city and I am really happy. I feel tons better than last week, and I had such a good time this weekend! I can't wait until this Saturday when my fam is coming up here to spend the day with me instead of the other way around! I am so sick of the train! LOL! So, I guess I'm gonna get ready for bed now and finish my reading for English. Au revoir, loves.

~P.S: Meesh, you and B should def come up this weekend too! We'll have tons of fun together. Mom said that she would text you sometime this week so keep an eye out! Love ya!

Goodbye, flip-flops.

Summer is now officially over for me. I went outside today into the brisk NYC air and instantly started shivering! Now, don't get me wrong! I adore the city during the fall, but today was rediculous! October is here to stay. I'm kind of excited, though! I get to see the gorgeous leaves in Central Park change colors, walk down the street in the cutest scarves and hats, and go to awesome Halloween parties! I already picked out my costume! I think I would look absolutely adorable as a Care Bear! Fall in New York City. Is there anything more romantic? Oh, right. Christmastime! Au revoir, loves!
