Drained beyond belief.

Thank God tomorrow is Thursday. This has been one of the most busiest weeks of my life. On top of being tired and not being able to move, I felt like I could barely catch a break this week. I have done so much work, and I feel like it keeps piling on! I've had endless papers, and meetings, and quizzes, and Excel spreadsheets! Ugh! I'm kinda glad to be going home tomorrow because I really need a break. Anyways, I have to finish getting ready for bed because I have a fashion vocab quiz tomorrow that I have yet to study for and we are having a floor meeting at eleven. See what I mean?! No room to breath! Au revoir, loves!

P.S.~ To the guy on my street this afternoon, no you cannot call me sometime. Ew! I am getting really sick of these New York lowlifes! But, everything else I love!

I'm about to fall asleep on this desk!

Math class ended an hour early. Yay! Still, I wish advertising could be canceled tonight. I am absolutely exhausted for some reason and I really don't feel like sitting there, bored out of my mind for three hours. Oh, well. I can't wait for it to be over so I could just crawl into bed and sleep. Nothing really exciting happened today. I'll keep you posted when something does. Au revoir, loves.

"Cause I am barely breathing, and I can't find the air"

So, right now I am on a train on my way back to my city. I had a lot of fun this weekend, but I'm glad to go back. Every time I leave, I feel like I am forgetting something when I'm really not. I guess I just don't feel the same without the taxi horns and ambulances lulling me to sleep at night, the bright lights of Times Square, and the peace and serenity of Madison Square Park. I can't wait to get back. I see the lights already, and they are beautiful. Anyways, my goal is to just get home, get settled, and go to sleep because I'm not really feeling that well. I hope I didn't catch Mom's cold! Au revoir, loves.

My favorite "lane" is at it again!

Desperate Housewives started tonight! I was so excited! Such a great episode! Although, it does make me sad to realize that I won't be able to talk to my Tay-Tay about it tomorrow morning like we used to do at school. That always made my Mondays a lot brighter. I miss you, love! So, the AC trip didn't happen today on account of this lovely weather. I'm a bit sad but it's okay. I'm so excited to go back to NYC tomorrow. Although I love being at home and spending time with my family, New York just makes me feel a hundred times better from the moment I step off the train. Okay, well, I'm about to get ready for bed and catch up on my magazines. Hang in there, Meesh! I can't wait to spend time with you on Saturday! We'll have tons of fun! Au revoir, loves!

Saturday, September 26, 2009

Rain, flips, and unhealthy food.

None of that stuff sounds fun, right? Wrong! Today was the Italian-American fest and it was so much fun! I met Meesh and her bestest friend, and we had a blast together! The food was yummy, the Zipper was awesome, and I didn't even care that my hair was getting wet...well, maybe a little! Anyways, we're supposed to go to AC tomorrow and i'm just hoping that they can come with us. It wouldn't be the same without them! Au revoir, loves.

"Blackbird fly into the light of the dark, black night."

So, I have to leave really soon to catch my train home. I am so hungry though! And, I don't have time to stop at Starbucks! Ugh! Anyways, I'm very excited for this weekend! I have a lot of fun things to do and I can finally relax a little bit! Bonus: California Pizza Kitchen tonight! I can already taste my delish mushroom raviolis! Okay, I must be going now! Au revoir, loves!

It felt so good to get out and shop!

Finally! I caught a break to get out of this room for a while and wander around my city! I went to Forever 21, and I found some awesome looks. Bonus: all under $100! And, there was a flea market at our school today, and I found some of the cutest jewelry and a really cool pair of sunglasses! Today was absolutely awesome. Anyway, I still have some homework to do tonight and then I have to pack because I'm planning to take the train home before noon tomorrow. Okay, I better get started now because I am exhausted! Au revoir, loves!

"Does it take your breath away, and you feel yourself suffocating?"

So, I have so much work to do. I'm finally finished with my advertising homework, and now I'm moving on to English. After that, I still have to study for my test tomorrow on the decades of fashion. It should be fun though! I hope tomorrow goes well. I have my fave class from 9:10 till 12, and then I have math from 2:10 to 4. It should be a quick day. My meeting was canceled YET AGAIN on Friday, so I had to reschedule that. I'm still coming home Friday morning though, because tomorrow I have to stop in Forever 21 to do a little fall shopping! I'm excited! Okay, I should get back to my homework now before I end up going to bed really late. Au revoir, loves!

It can't be that hard!

So, another one of my boys is here in my fair city! This time, it's RyRo! Darling, come find me and we'll grab a bite at Olive Garden! Anyways, aside from that, yesterday seemed like the longest day of my life. I didn't have class until 4:10, which is great. Math was fine. We're learning about how to multiply, divide, add, and subtract fractions. Yeah. But, advertising class seemed to never end! Maybe it's because I have it from 6:30 to 9:20! I think I made a big mistake taking a night class. Okay, that's all for now, loves! I must be getting to English soon! A bientot!

Easy Monday=Easy Week!

Wow. I cannot believe my luck today! So, I knew that my English class was canceled today since last week, so I thought it would be really nice to have an extra day to sleep late. So, I did. 2:10 rolls around and I am making my way to my Excel class when I am stopped in front of the building and informed that that too was canceled! I was so ecstatic. All I had to do today was attend my fashion business practices class, and that absolutely flew by. I was able to catch up on all my homework, and now I can just relax because classes don't start for me until 4:10 tomorrow! Yay! Ta, ta for now, loves!

So, this is college life.

I am now sitting in my dorm room, bored out of my mind. I just did a load of laundry and am finishing up some homework. And to think, I never imagined myself being bored in NYC!

"And this calls for a toast so pour the champagne!"

So, the wedding on Saturday was absolutely gorgeous! Love, you looked so beautiful and your dress was bangin'! I have never eaten so much food in my entire life! Let's talk about the cocktail hour. If I didn't know any better, I would have thought that that was the actual dinner because there was so much food! It was all delish, but OMJ! I think I gained ten pounds! Aside from the food, the whole reception was tons of fun! I danced, I attempted to catch the bouquet, and I cringed at my parents slow dancing! It was a really fun night! And, Meesh, don't worry! Your reading was excellent! You didn't stumble once! Oh, and one more thing. I am now totally addicted to champagne. Yum!

Daddy!

So, Friday was my Daddy's 49th birthday! I told you I had tons of birthdays in September. Okay, on the count of three. One, two, three!
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday, dear Daddy
Happy Birthday to you!

Hope you loved your tie! You looked absolutely fantabulous in it at the wedding! I love you!

Thursday, September 17, 2009

Well, hello, old man!

Wow! There are so many birthdays in September! Today, the lovable Mr. Jon Walker turns 24! You certainly are getting up there, darling! Just kidding! Here we go!

Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday, dear JWalk
Happy Birthday to you!

Hope you have a fantabulous day, love! Okay, I have to be leaving soon for my fashion class and I am so excited to be going home tonight! Two big weddings on Saturday! Au revoir, loves!

Ew.

So, one part of my college experience is now behind me. It was the early morning fire drill. So, I just woke up and I just got done straightening my hair when this really loud and obnoxious buzzing started. I freaked out when I heard the guards telling us all to get out of the building. So, I through on some jeans, grabbed my bag, and bolted out of there! After what felt like an eternity of standing on the sidewalk looking like hell, they finally let us in. That was definitely not my idea of a 'good morning.' Okay, I have to get my butt to English right now. Au revoir, loves!

Sukie!

I almost forgot to mention something super important! Yesterday was my bestest friend Sukie's 18th birthday! So, please join me in a belated birthday song.

Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday dear Sukie,
Happy birthday to you!

Hope you had an awesome time you legal eagle! I'm definitely looking forward for our in-the-works-shopping-spree-around-NYC! Love ya lots!

My city shines a little less brightly now.

They're gone. Believe me, I tried to "accidentally" run into them, but it's kinda impossible in this amazing city! I'm not that upset though because I know that they will come again (even though a certain someone hates this incredible place!) and I will have many opportunities to see them. Besides that, this week has been going pretty smoothly. I just have a TON of reading to do tonight. I really just wan to go to sleep, but I know that will only put me further behind. Okay, I better get started! Au revoir, loves!

"In a city of millions..."

So, I totally cannot wait till classes are over today because I have much more important things to do! My boys are in my city and I am determined to "run into them." I know that seems impossible in this huge city, but I don't care. I am persistent!

Some "best friend!"

So, when I got back to my room after getting off the train this afternoon, I text my bff to let him know that I was home and to make sure that we were still on for the VMAs. He texted me back and said that he didn't think so because he wasn't feeling so well. I was a bit disappointed, but I wasn't mad because my boys weren't even there, so I really had no reason to go anyway. By the way, they are here now, and believe me, I will keep a sharp eye out for them! Anyway, I decided to quickly run over to Starbucks so I could get a sandwich since the cafeteria was closed. Well, as I was walking back to campus, who do I see leaving? My so-called bff! He was all dressed up and on his way out! He didn't see me though, and I'm kinda glad cause I would've killed him! I don't know why he would lie to me and tell me he was sick when he knew that we had plans! I don't know...maybe I'm overreacting, but I am definitely not happy with someone right now.

The stars align...

So, I'm finally back in NYC and it is a very important night tonight! The VMAs are being held at Radio City Music Hall, and my boys are going to be there! I'm so excited! In a little bit, me and a few friends are going down there to see if we can catch a glimpse of the action! I'll keep you posted! Au revoir, loves!

It's Fashion's Night Out and, unfortunately, my night in.

Today has had it's ups and downs so far. My alarm woke me up at 7:30 like I told it to. So, I woke up and I decided that I could sleep until eight since my class didn't start till 9:10. I fall asleep...and I don't wake up again until 8:35! I started freaking out! I think that that was the fastest I've ever gotten dressed, straightened my hair, did my makeup, and brushed my teeth because I left my dorm at 8:55! So, I got to class on time (thank God!) and we were assigned our designer for our research paper! I got Monsieur Christian Lacroix and I am really excited to get started! I knew this would be my favorite class! I'm going home tonight because I have to be in Philly tomorrow morning, so that means I will be missing out on Fashion's Night Out. You don't understand how totally bummed out I am about that! Grr! At least I have my brand new Juicy tote bag waiting for me when I get home. Okay, I have to go to math in an hour and then it's New Jersey, here I come. Yay! Not! Au revoir, loves!

Wednesday, September 9, 2009

Busy day.

Wow, I'm exhausted! I don't think I sat down once today except for homework! I'm going home tomorrow and I just had so much I had to catch up on. My laundry was piling up so I finally got that done. Now I am gradually lowering the stack of homework that is laying in front of me! No one said college life would be easy. Anyways, I'm kinda bummed out because I'm going to miss Fashion's Night Out tomorrow! If you live in NYC, you should definitely check it out! All the stores are open until 11 p.m., and most of them are throwing hugh bashes! Ms. Gela Nash-Taylor will be at Juicy Couture, Betsey Johnson is having hairstylists and Stila makeup artists at her stores, and did I mention the free goodie bags?! I envy whoever gets to partake in this magical event! Okay, I have to go get a shower and attempt to go to bed early because I have a class at 9:10 tomorrow morning! Au revoir, loves!

An unusually boring day here in the city.

So, I just got back from my advertising class about an hour ago and I am kinda exhausted. I woke up earlier than I had to this morning and I just couldn't fall back asleep. Class didn't start until 4:10 and I was able to finish my English paper. I think I did a pretty good job on it. Right now, I'm working on fashion business practices homework and then it's off to bed. Tomorrow should be better since I don't have a late class. My floor is a mess right now so I'm gonna do some sweeping! Au revoir, loves!

"It's up to you, New York, New York!"

So, I'm finally back in my city! I am so happy to hear the cars outside my window again! It was a fun Labor Day weekend, and tomorrow it's back to the books. I'm so glad I don't have class until four, though. Anyhoo, it's a short week this week so it should be good. Ta-ta for now, loves!

"I wouldn't change one second of our life together."

So, I finally saw The Time Traveler's Wife today and it was beyond amazing! Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana were so great as Clare and Henry. It really did the book justice and I think everyone should see it. The previews were also amazing. I have so many movies i absolutely have to see. The Lovely Bones looks great, but I really want to read the book first. New York, I Love You, Amelia, Coco Before Chanel, and Taking Woodstock are definitely on my must-see list as well! Anyways, I also had my uncle's picnic today so I got to see my girls! It ws so much fun! Well, tomorrow it's back to NYC for me...yay! I miss my city already! Ta-ta for now, loves!

Under the sea.

So, today I went to the beach for the last time this summer. I know. I almost cried too. It's so sad that summer's officially over! It went by so quickly this year! Anyhoo, it was really fun and I had a blast with Meesh and her BFF. I finally found some seashells too! I was so excited! So, tomorrow I'm finally going to see The Time Traveler's Wife and I'm excited. I hope it's half as good as the book was. I also have my uncle's picnic so I'll get to see my girls! Okay, well, I can barely keep my eyes open so I guess it's ta-ta for now, loves.

Delivery...

So, I'm sitting in my room waiting for a package. I can' leave until it gets here. It better get here soon because I dread taking a rush hour train. Anyways, I'm packing and then hopefully my BFF will not get so much work so we can go to Juicy. I really need that big tote bag. I'm kinda hungry too so I'm gonna go get some lunch while I'm waiting. Au revoir, loves!

Am I really that dumb?

Don't answer that. But, not that I'm complaining, but I don't think I should be this low in math. Today we literally learned about even, odd, and prime numbers. I took pre-calc last semester! I kind of don't mind it though because it's an easy class and we don't get a lot of work, but it kind of ticks me off that it offers no credits. So, I will have to take an extra class next semester, which would be statistics. I'm not looking forward to that at all! But, anyways, I am officially done for the week and Monday is Labor Day so we have off! I'm going home and I am looking forward to my momma's oven fried chicken parmagiana, seeing my girls, and going to the beach with Meesh! Ta-ta for now, my lovelies!

P.S.- My fashion class this morning was soooo fun! Our teacher is really nice, she's worked in the business for a long time, and we get to do a presentation on a designer! I am so looking forward to that!

P.P.S.- Miss KC is back in NYC so hopefully I will spot her sooner or later! I'll keep you guys posted!

Wednesday, September 2, 2009

I have not seen the city for three days and I live in it.

I know I shouldn't be complaining, but I've had so much work this week and it's beginning to pile up already! I just want to explore my city! It's so frustrating because all day I can hear the people and the cars but I never SEE any of it! Hopefully I get it all done really soon because I really want to walk on the Bridge, window shop on Fifth, brave the subway, and get some Starbucks!

Twenty-two... twenty-three...

Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday dear Spencer,
Happy birthday to you!

*and belated, but not forgotten*

Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday dear Ryan,
Happy birthday to you!

So, aside from two very important birthdays, this week has been jam-packed for me! I started classes on Monday and they are not as bad as I thought they would be. Don't get me wrong, there is a lot of work involved, but they are actually fun! I love my English class because there is a lot of creative writing involved, which I adore! My math class makes me feel like I am back in grade school because it is a refresher course on long division, long multiplication, long subtraction, and long addition... without the use of a calculator. Duh-duh-duh! No, but it's not bad. And I absolutely love my core classes about fashion and advertising! They are so fun! Let's hope I feel the same way next week! Au revoir, loves!
